Our students range in age from 12 to 16 plus. Our core programme is for Black and Mixed-heritage boys and non core students are male and female. The majority of our students are from economically-disadvantaged backgrounds.

Core Students: There will be 50 core GG Scholars
by summer 2007. They are from years 8 and 9 in High School.
The plan is to have 100 core students by 2010 and to continue
providing services throughout their college years. Core
students go through a rigorous selection process and are
required to fully commit to all GG programming.
Non-Core Students: By maintaining a strong presence in each partner school, and with applicants that are not accepted due to space limitations, GG provides services to a large number of non-core students through special events, school based lecturers and peer mentoring.
Teaching Community: We see ourselves as a centre
of excellence, where we have developed cutting-edge teaching
methods and resources which has proven success with inner-city
children. We disseminate this resource by inviting teachers
to our summer camps and providing training/workshops to
schools and colleges.
Benefits to Corporations:
- There is a link in supporting the local community.
- We use company workers as judges on our panels and also to give career and inspirational talks.
- Our programme is dealing with perhaps one of the most excluded groups in our society, they are key to any diversity agenda.
